GETTYSBURG FACTORY CONDOMINIUMS
It takes a lot of vision to look an old abandoned manufacturing site and picture fashionable, modern condominiums … but that’s just what a Gettysburg developer had in mind when we were hired as general contractors for this extensive and complex build. The developer wanted to include the warehouse ‘look and feel’ into the condominiums. To that end, large wooden beams were exposed, as was some of the brick shell. The result is a loft-style condominium with contemporary amenities and subtle references to the architectural details of the original building. In addition, part of the building provides offices and carport parking. This project included many commercial components such as addressing structural issues, installing fire walls, and implementing a sprinkler system.
